Restored Thermosmobile Truck
Craftsmen have shaped cars into a bewildering array of objects for the purpose of advertising. A couple of the more famous examples include the Zippo Car and an entire fleet of Wienermobiles. However, the practice of turning a car into something that isn’t a car dates back to the early 1900’s. The Thermos Bottle Company of Norwich, CT, used these Thermosmobile trucks up until the mid-1920’s.
