$20 Flame Job
I really enjoy having a car I don’t have to worry too much about and can take some risks on. This hood has about eight layers of paint from experimenting with scallops, pinstriping and a variety of flame jobs. The current flames took about 5 hours and $20 worth of materials using good ‘ol Rust-Oleum rattle cans from Lowes. It looks MUCH better in person (the fades are more gradual and the color really pops). Once it’s cleaned up and outlined it should be quite presentable considering the method used to create it. The car is a 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury.

More power to ya, we should all be able to enjoy our classics as much. The point of this hobby is to have fun. I have a 58 Impala that I’m going to restore mechanicaly, the body has three or four different colors on it. I’m going to drive it like it is, and have fun too.
