Triumph TR6, for sale in Stratford, Connecticut, for $17,600.

A rare find. . . last owner (in our area) bought this car from its first owner in 1980 with 64,000 miles. Has put 9,000 miles on the car. . . two owners, 73,000 miles since new.

Runs and drives very well. . . floors and sills look perfect, not surprisingly for a car garaged every day of its life. During those last 30 years/9,000 miles, car has been repainted (and after 30 years, the worst blemishes are a few very small bubbles on top of the fenders), had a new clutch, new brake master cylinder, new exhaust, new tires. . . the original dash and interior and chrome and trim are all still near perfect original. As is the convertible top, tonneau, wiring, and even the cardboard shroud around the cooling fan.

A rare find indeed.

Oh, and almost forgot. Has overdrive giving seven forward ratios. One of the clearnest, most original, nicest, best looking and running TR6s we have had in a very long time. Came in properly and carefully serviced and the only prep it appeared to need (which was just done in our shop) was fitting new diff rubber mounts and driveshaft universal joints.

A wonderful, very usable classic that is a dream on the highway, fabulous 'round town, and has all of the right sounds. Even the original factory hardtop in matching maroon. A very hard to duplicate example.
