1976 French Blue Triumph TR6 - 97,200 miles. This TR6 is a true survivor. It has spent most of its life in the South and now lives in Southern California so that frame is rock solid. It has never been restored and has a high quality paint job from about 20-25 years ago that still holds a shine. This TR6 comes with a factory hard top, the proper soft top (new 2007) and a tonneau. It also features a period air conditioner with an auxiliary electric cooling fan (I've never seen another one) that even blows cold! This car even has the proper emissions equipment intact to comply with California's smog board! I've Owned the car for approximately seven years/6,000 miles and have done the following to it: Replaced the soft top. Installed the proper 3-point seat belts. Replaced the cooling hoses with the proper green sort. Replaced the thermostat. Replaced the heater valve. Replaced the front shocks. Replaced the front brakes. Installed a refurbished gas tank and fresh rubber fuel lines. Rebuilt the fuel pump. Replaced the EGR valve. Had the carburetors rebuilt by British Motor Service in Orange, CA. Replaced the brake master cylinder. Replaced the battery. Installed new(2012) vintage style radio with auxiliary input (for iPod's, etc.) hidden in the glove box. Replaced the passenger's window regulator. In addition to the factory Stromberg carbs, the car also includes a set of downdraft Webber's. They really give the car some extra punch in the top end, but they're thirsty and the State of California isn't too fond of them come inspection time. Unusual for Triumphs, all the instruments and lighting work. It is a very clean (save for a pesky dash crack), solid car that shows well and has plenty of torque. The clutch and gearbox are super tight and the car is a whole lot of fun to drive! This is a great TR6 to either enjoy as it is for many years or to put a minimal amount of effort into it to make this a top tier show piece.
