A lovely older restoration, very clean body and paint (no dents, bubbles, cracks, etc), excellent floor (one side has been replaced, other side is excellent), excellent drive train (no smoke, 80 psi oil pressure, 135-140 psi compression in every cylinder, perfect running), new wiring harness (and yes, everything electrical works properly), brakes just done, new steering column (adjustable), rebuilt front end, VERY clean engine bay and trunk, 4 speed all synchromesh transmission with overdrive (which works perfectly), wire wheels, 165R15 Radials, no rust in trunk floor, new fuel tank and fuel pump, mostly new interior, excellent 'driver' and sufficiently clean for low key show use.

The car was prepared by a well known professional restorer for his own use and a lot of new parts were added and a lot of rebuilding.

Heater works well, better than average ride and handling, one of the 'tightest' TR steering boxes we have seen, hard to imagine a better classic sports car (for the money) with truly classic lines yet disc brakes, 110mph performance, and ready for the first nice day of Spring. Of course, on that note, it arrived on a 14 degree day and I took it for a 10 miles test. . with heater on, it was actually quite pleasant.

What a perfect classic sports car for all year 'round use. . . with the power of the TR engine, disc brakes, modern radial tires, this car not only 'keeps up' with traffice but with one's foot down, surges ahead of most contemporary sports car. And, ya know, on the street, it isn't how fast you are going but how fast you THINK you are going. And in an open roadster like this TR3A, 60-70 mph is quite exciting. Unlike a modern sports or GT car that tends to insulate and isolate you from the road.
