This striking drop head coupe with Carlton coachwork was delivered new to His Grace the Duke of Southerland. The Duke was a nobleman whose family laid claim to substantial real estate holdings throughout Scotland. The Sutherland's were regular buyers of Rolls-Royce automobiles. Sometime in the 1950's 32 MS PII Continental came to the USA and has stayed ever since. In the late 1990's a restoration was commissioned on her. Then in about the year 2000 the car had an extensive cosmetic restoration performed on it, bringing it up to show quality. Here is one of the finest drop head coupes over put on a PII Continental chassis.
