This 1957 Porsche Carrera Speedster is finished in unique reed green exterior which is similar to the modern color found on some VW Touaregs. . I like to refer to it as sage green. It is finished out with tan leather and matching tan speedster top. A little history on this particular car:

Special Edition, Inc. of Bremen, Indiana ( the builder of the famous Beck Spyder and Beck Speedster cars) was asked by the New York area dealer, AutoSport Designs, Inc. to build a limited edition BECK 356 Speedster in Carrera trim. This special car was completed in June of 2008 and was sold by AutoSport to a customer in suburban Chicago. This cas feature many special exterior treatments including single GT mirror, a louvered engine lid, polished aluminum bumper trim, wide 5 bolt wheels with special drum skin brake covers, and the clean, no-side trim look of the original. It also features a custom stainless center outlet exhaust similar to the original single stinger outlet exhaust on the early racing speedsters.

It was part of a limited run of Carrera Speedsters specially commissioned by Autosport to have the authentic looks of a real 1957 Porsche Carrera Speedster and finiished to an extremely high degree of detail. The unique color is Reed Green with tan leather and tan converrtible top. It is fitted with a fast yet reliable VW 1915cc twin carb engine producing approximately 90hp. It features front disc brakes and drum rear brakes with special aluminum covers to compliment the authentic style wheels. This beautiful Carrera Speedster offers all of the looks and performance of the real deal at a fraction of the price. It can be driven anywhere without concern as it now has a little more than 2,100 miles on it since completion and is fully sorted out.
