This car has the optional automatic which only 1,368 were made. We literally see thousands of collector cars a year and i have not seen a ’70 t/a in a few years. This one has been ground up restored. Very clean straight body. Professional paint. Interior looks new. This car drives and functions like new. Rebuilt motor, trans and much more. Has receipts. Engine and trunk compartments are clean. The trans am for 1970 was immodest as ever with its scopes, flares and spoilers. Had a low european design but was pure american muscle. Well reviewed by the critics as well. Quick ration steering and a sports car like suspension made it handle very well. The ram air motor gave plenty of power. Car & driver said there wasn’t a car that compared in the world at twice the price.
