1966 Pontiac GTO. Convertible! 4 speed! Tri Power! COMPLETE FRAME OFF / ROTISSARIE RESTORATION! Brought back to its original condition! This is a Southern California car its whole life so rust was never an issue! Everything on the car is either rebuilt, replaced or restored. Frame: Body removed. Frame, rear axle, control arms were media blasted and powder coated. Brakes, Suspension & Wheels: Upgraded with new Eibach performance suspension (shocks, springs, bushings). Upgraded to power brakes with discs in the front. All new wheel bearings. Beautiful set of Rally I wheels with brand new Redline tires. Body: Car has top-of-the-line paint job! DuPont paint and lots of clear. Taken down to bare metal. Only had a few small areas to address which was repaired correctly. No Bondo! The only metal that was replaced was under the rear seat and the trunk floor pan. All original body metal. All chrome and stainless steel pieces were professionally polished. Drivetrain: 389CID engine was sent out for a complete rebuild. Upgraded to TriPower – complete rebuilt unit. Muncie 4 speed was also sent out to be professionally rebuilt. New performance clutch. Driveshaft was removed, rebalanced, painted and reinstalled. Rear end was disassembled, inspected, new bolts, rebuilt and serviced. Electrical: Complete new wiring harnesses installed. Interior: Dash was shipped out to get professionally redone – new plastic chrome with wood grain. New set of Rally gauges. New carpet. Front and rear seats completely rebuilt, not just recovered. Convertible Top: Frame was removed and restored. New hydraulic pump and lines. Brand new top and boot. End result: Beautiful ’66 GTO in its original Barrier Blue (Code P) with Blue interior (Code 219) and white convertible top (Code 1). I also have the PHS documentation.
