Plymouth Roadrunner 383 Magnum, 335hp, auto on floor, Purple, for sale in , for $20,000.
1970 Plymouth Roadrunner 383 Magnum, 335hp, auto on floor. 67,000 miles, original engine. Starts, runs and drives great. Ultra-Violet purple exterior, typical wear for milage, probably less. Was a ND car, no salt. Black bucket seat interior. Driver seat needs upper/lower inside insert. Available from Legendary. Floor shift Magnum 500 wheels, new Dayton tires, new spare, original jack. New dual exhaust, original hi-perf exhaust manifolds. Rear "Go-Wing"'A-31 Trac pack. 3.91 posi. Original black vinyl top. Beep-beep horn. Rim blow wheel Transmission has small leak. I have a replacement pan. Radiator has new core with less than 800 miles.
Nice, original interior, except drivers insert. Floors are solid and rust free. There are some tiny pinholes in the trunk, an easy fix or just use sealer to preserve. All glass is nice, gauges all work, dash/dome lights do not. Rebuilt master cyl. New wheel cyl, brake line. Brakes seem to grab and pull a little, will need adjusting/bleeding. No leaks. New ball joint, idler arm, and tie rod adjusters. Needs alignment. Has had some body work on quarters in 1990. Was in a collection since then. I bought it in 2005.
Has been driven 800 miles in the last 22 years. It came from a Chrysler dealer's collection, where it had been since the 80's. It's an interesting, stripe delete car. This is one of the few cars that would offer someone the opportunity to buy a nice, correct muscle car that they can enjoy and drive right from the first weekend of ownership and not have to spend 40K. The Mopars in the original "high impact" colors are the most collectable, and, of course, numbers matching engines demand more money as well.
