Among the more delightful anomolias in the history of the automobile is that of the pierce arrow, one of the most revered and prestigious motor cars ever to grace the highway, built in buffalo, new york. One of the famous "3ps' said to be 3 of the finest american cars ever built, pierce arrow, packard and peerless. This car bought new in 1931 by wilbert lee (pappy) o'daniel who had a band called " the doughboys: as depicted in the movie "o brother where art thou". He later became govner of texas 1939-1941. He was credited with popularizing western swing music. This pierce arrow was professionally frame off restored in 1988 of a beautiful original car. It won 1st in several shows. It was recently acquired by the museum and underwent a complete extensive refresher restoration and detail. The car is absolutely stunning in concours condition. Paint, chrome, leather interior, harts cloth top and glass are all like new. Engine and drive train completely remachined and to pierce standards.
