One of the most revered and prestigious motor cars ever to grace the highway, decended from a company that built birdcages. The company was Heinz, Pierce and Munschauer, founded in Buffalo, New York, in 1865.
The company's first car was a steam car built in 1900. The first 6 cycle car debuted in 1907 and two years later the marque was known as Pierce Arrow. Pierce was famous for its fender headlights introduced in 1913 as an option thru 1932. Thru the years pierce arrow was devoted to luxury and quality. One of the 3 p's - Pierce, Packard and Pierless said to be three of the finest cars america built.
This beautiful Pierce is an older restoration that with stood the test of time. The body is clad in two tone green with dual sidemounts. Interior is nice brown leather with tan harts cloth top. Our best estimate is the car was a frame off restoration 25 years ago. It runs and drives like a pierce.
This car is very presentable in tour status. The mechanicals are good, chrome and glass is good to excellent, restored from good original. This is the Sport Phaeton with the dual cowl and dual windshield that drives good. This old girl has a lot of life for carefree drving and touring.
