Estate 1930 packard 740 club sedan. Fifteen designs were offered in the individual custom line. Packard was known for quality and the prestigous mark of excellence in the 30's. 6200 model 740 packards were built for 1930, the 4 speed transmission was new combind with a 4.69:1 rearend and detroit carb, and parking lights were now fender mounted. Dual sidemount spares were optional on the 740 model. The jim and gayle griffin family purchased this beautiful show stopper packard in 1965. It was a good solid original cald in black that ran good enough to drive home. After partaking in many parades and party events the car enjoyed a complete professional frame off restoration completed in 1998. Engine and drive train completely rebuilt to specs. It was beauitfully clad in a tripple tone color combination of dark packard blue, smoke dark grey and light grey with red pin stripe. The paint, chrome, interior and chassis are all exceptional show. First place winner at a national packard show along with 14 other awards from peoples choice to best in show; never less than first place where shown.
