1935 Packard 120 rumble seat coupe, Black, for sale in Plantsville, Connecticut, for $8,500.

Hi, this is a car I purchased along with 3 other cars in a package deal. This is not one that I will be keeping. It is a 1935 Packard 120 straight eight rumble seat coupe. It appears it was originally  green in color. The car has not been on the road in years - it has a Rhode Island registration sticker in the windshield dated 1952.

The odometer reads 75,310 and probably is true. I feel it is a good candidate for restoration. It appears to be all there including the KEYS! An extra radio setup was in the trunk and of course is included in the sale. If the Packard boys do not want this car, it would make an awesome and unique street rod with the already low roof line and suicide doors if you dare to stand out in a crowd. 

The number embossed in the center of the fire wall is: 2iii72

The ID plate on the passenger side firewall reads as follows:

VEHICLE # 895i308   DELIVERD BY HOWARD WHITE COMPANY  and it looks like the date is stamped  

7-3-35  but please look at the picture and decide for yourself.  I used lower case i’s in the above numbers because the upper case looks like the number 1.

The car has some rotted areas in both metal and wood. The trunk lid and rumble seat lid are both just sitting in place due to some rotted/missing wood. The bottom of both doors, and just behind the doors in the quarter panels have metal rot. The trunk floor as well as rumble seat area has rot as does the bottom of the headlight pods. The frame appears to be solid everywhere. Please look at all the pictures I have taken to properly represent this car and ask for any specific ones you may want. The car rolls around (I put used tires on the right side to achieve this) and goes into gear. I do not know if the motor is stuck or not but there is oil on the dip stick. Call with any questions.
