Oldsmobile Toronado, Gold, for sale in Tallahassee, Florida, for $9,990.
How often do you see one of these beauties around town? The Cord Company pioneered front-wheel-drive vehicle technology in the 1930s, although the concept all but died along with Cord in 1936. Thirty years later, Oldsmobile introduced the first modern American-produced front-wheel-drive vehicle. Everyone at the time knew front-wheel-drive cars would never really catch on.
The Olds Toronado featured hidden headlights, a hat-tip to the Cord, which had the same. This one is gold with a really nice black vinyl top. It sounds great, the 455 motor runs great, and the car drives great. You are going to love this piece of history.
