1957 Olds Super 88 Holiday Hard-top Coupe. This was a very stylish car in 1957 which marked Olds 60th anniversary. This car was believed to be owned by one family for over 30 years.

The car has an older restoration that now presents its self as "driver quality". Although the paint still shines, there are some blemishes, scratches and nicks in the paint upon close examination. The overall body of the car is in good shape with no dents or creases.

The chrome and stainless is all there, and still looks very presentable with no cracking or pitting. The dash is in very good shape and all the chrome and stainless still shines. The three toned interior looks correct and is in very good condition. The headliner with the stainless cross bows are in tacked.

The Olds is equipped with its 371 CID, 300HP "J2"engine (casting # 571145) that was introduced in 1957 with the three-by-two-barrel carburetor (carbs still have the sequential numbered tags). This was a force to be reckoned with on the street that could do 0-60 MPH in less than 9 seconds. The original air cleaner assembly is included. The glass is in good condition except for one small crack on lower rear of driver's door window. The underneath of the car has the original floor pans and trunk pan that are solid with no signs of rust. The pans still retain red oxidized coating. The rockers have had repair work over the years (see pics).

The car is equipped with power steering, power brakes, and a Jetaway four speed hydramamatic transmission that still retains its original tag (#0-57-133793). An electronic fuel pump has been added and the car has dual exhaust (Flowmaster) with new stainless exhaust tips. The car runs and drives very smoothly and the J2 carbs are set up correctly with the choke working on the center carb, as per factory specs. This is a real American classic with a lot of originality.
