Studebaker owners are set to converge on Belleville, in Ontario, Canada this weekend, to celebrate a few milestones in the history of the now defunct marque.

Firstly, 2012 marks the 160th anniversary of the founding of the Studebaker company, as well as the 50th anniversary of the Studebaker Drivers Club, plus the 40th of the Ontario chapter of the club.

Studebaker may have originated in South Bend, Illinois, but the company also had plants in Walkerville and Hamilton, Ontario.

Guests of honour at the event will be former Hamilton factory workers, plus Canadian Studebaker dealers. Highlights of the event include a Studebaker car show, a Studebaker Made in Canada display, an awards banquet, and a Canada Day celebration.

The Studebaker Made In Canada Celebration takes place from the 29 June to the 1st of July 2012.
