Star auctions classic car

There are thousands of classic cars for sale if you are willing to scour the web for a bargain, although some listings are a little more interesting than others.
This month, a 1939 Packard One-Twenty was listed on eBay, which in itself is a relatively intriguing lot in its own right due, to the vintage nature of the vehicle.
However, this particular example actually belongs to burlesque star, Dita Von Teese, who is known for her love of retro fashion and classic cars.
The Packard One-Twenty in question was apparently fully restored a decade ago and has the majority of its factory-fitted components still intact, including the original tachometer.
The auction listing notes that Von Teese is parting ways with the car because she has recently acquired a 1940 Cadillac convertible, which means that she needs a little more space in her garage and so the Packard had to go.
At the time of writing, the highest bid on the car is $24,000 and there is a little over a day to go until the auction closes, so it could climb much higher if interest in this particular vintage vehicle increases due to the publicity it has attracted.
