Repair shop or vintage car museum?

This is the kind of question that customers to the Burlingame Motors automotive repair shop have to contend with each and every single time they walk through those doors.
Whether we are talking about the 1960s Batmobile (from the Adam West TV show) or the 1972 300 SL Mercedes owned by Steve McQueen, there have been a number of truly incredible classic cars that have rolled right through those garage doors. And while many of them are no longer in the shop, pictures and mementos of those experiences letter all of the repair bays in the offices.
Focusing entirely on restoring classic cars (and maintaining them as well) for the last 14 years, Burlingame Motors is a family owned and operated shop that’s been around since the early 1970s. Partnering closely with California Classics (located right across the street), they been able to turn out some pretty incredible work in the last few years – and have caught the eye of collectors all over the world. In fact, they even have a handful of graduates from a Switzerland high school coming to do an apprenticeship at their shop – a rarity even in a world of global connections like the one we’re living in today.
