When Judge Joseph Cassini decided to retire from the bench in Newark, New Jersey he did so in style. Sliding behind the wheel of his completely restored 1934 Packard convertible – with the top down – the good judge drove off into the sunset (all the way to a California car show – one of the biggest in the nation).
Making the nearly 3000 mile trip to compete in the Pebble Beach Classic Car Show (becoming one of 500+ contestants), Judge Cassini was able to pull in top honors and win “Best in Show” for his vintage restored automobile.
Jet black with brass accents all throughout, the 1934 Packard convertible is truly something to set your eyes on. An automobile that first rolled off of the production line almost 80 years ago, this is an incredibly – in impeccably – restored vintage automobile and one that would be the centerpiece of a collection for almost any vintage automobile enthusiast. However, this is just one of a handful of classic cars that Judge Cassini has in his possession – including his original 1956 canary yellow Ford Thunderbird that he bought well over 30+ years ago when just starting out as a law student.
