Anyone who wants to buy classic cars in Plainfield, Illinois, will be pleased to hear that a new showroom dedicated to selling vintage vehicles is being planned for the village.
Authorities have approved the development of the site and the Rod Baker showroom will not only be housing classic cars for sale, but will also offer restoration services for those who already own an ageing motor which they want to show a little TLC.
The space in which the showroom will be opened was previously a dealership for new vehicles and so converting it to sell classics will not be much of an issue.
In addition, the new owner of the site has actually been storing a number of classic cars there during the approval process and so there is already an inventory of vehicles prepped and ready to find new homes.
Once the showroom is open, it will be able to fit between six and eight cars at the same time, with plenty of room for the storage of other cars on the site.
Part of the agreement means that no vehicle which is new or not considered to be a classic will be eligible for storage or sale at the showroom.
