Muscle cars in North Carolina

America's biggest contribution to the automotive world is arguably the muscle car, which has come to define some of our greatest manufacturers and generate lots of different classics in the process.
The Paramount Classic Cars and Trucks showroom in Hickory, North Carolina, has been singled out as offering visitors the unique chance to come face to face with a number of fully restored, fully awesome, vintage muscle cars.
The Hickory Record reports that this particular business was recently established in a large, vacant warehouse which has been converted into a fully functional showroom, currently packed with classic cars.
Amongst the cars on show are a Sunbeam Alpine and Tiger, a 1958 Chevrolet Corvette and around 100 other vehicles of the same calibre.
Visitors are able to call into the showroom without any obligation to actually buy one of the cars, but because this is primarily a business and not a museum, they are asked to call ahead to make sure there is actually room to accommodate them.
This kind of facility is able to really put small communities on the map and also helps to generate money for local economies, thanks to the nationwide love of muscle cars.
