In a bid to drive more and more traffic to their a local dealerships, a number of thinking, Mississippi business owners have all banded together to host a number of summer car cruises in an effort to bring in automotive enthusiasts, community members, and maybe even a handful of future customers.
Designed to be a weekly car show that rotates from dealership to dealership (all working together in a tight partnership), these events will be held on every Thursday through August 8. Owners of classic cars all throughout the local area are encouraged to attend the event – entry will be completely and totally free – and there also will be a number of other specialty attractions. Free hot dogs, soda pop, and popcorn will be provided – and live music has already been arranged for almost all of the shows.
In the event of a rainout the shows will be postponed until the following week, and you’ll be able to find out more information on those dealerships websites. It should be a fun time for all – especially if you count yourself as a classic car enthusiast. And even if you’re not, and is nothing quite like free food, free drinks, and a bit of live music set to the backdrop of a classic car cruise to get in on the summertime mood.
