A vintage Ferrari once owned by rock legend, John Lennon, is going under the hammer at an auction this month and is expected to fetch up to $340,000, according to Bloomberg.
The 330 GT which was owned by one of The Beatles is just one of a number of rare classic cars which are going to be sold at an event held over in the UK by RM Auctions.
Of course, given the pedigree of the car itself and the high profile nature of its former owner, this Ferrari could end up fetching much more than its estimate.
The vehicle which is likely to make the most money on the day is another Ferrari, this time one which features in a Le Mans race back in 1953. Expectations are sky high and it could sell for around $6.6 million, with some eager observers arguing that it might make closer to $10 million.
While you can still find some classic Ferraris which cost as much as a BMW 6 Series, the rarest of the cars built by this iconic Italian manufacturer are some of the most valuable vehicles on the market at the moment, making them appealing big money investments.
