Insurance company backs classic car week

Though it wouldn’t come as much of a surprise to many who have worked with the Heritage Insurance Group for decades and decades in the past, the truth of the matter is that some were quite surprised that an insurance company would be so supportive of an initiative to drive vintage vehicles to work – for an entire week – exposing them to all that fall weather has to offer. However, that’s exactly what’s happening with this year’s “Drive the Your Classics to Work Week” beginning on the seventh of September. The Heritage Insurance Group has long recognized that classic car enthusiasts make up a large portion of their active customer and client base, and they’ve been working closely with a number of different car clubs to create a national celebration of the hobby where they could become an active participant. In fact, a Senior Partner of Heritage (Chris Wilkinson) has been a big proponent of the Classic Car Week, even going so far as to drive his own vintage automobiles at every single opportunity throughout this event to promote the occasion. While it’s not like classic car enthusiasts need an excuse to share their love of vintage automobiles, it’s always nice to see an entire fleet of these old-school gems cruising up and down the main street of your town.
