Grand Haven invaded by 200+ vintage automobiles

Every single year (for the last seven or eight years) Grand Haven has been home to one of the biggest classic car shows in the entire US – with some 200+ vintage autos rolling into this relatively sleepy little town to kick off a classic car rally unlike any other.
Nowhere else in the United States can you see fleets of some of the rarest vintage automobiles in North America all in one single location – from classic 1968 Ford Mustangs to 1937 Packard Victoria convertibles, to 1972 Volkswagen Super Beatles – this is the kind of event that has seemingly everything for everyone.
The actual event in itself is a 100% free to the general public, though there is an entry fee if you wish to add your vintage automobile to the fleet of cars going up against one another in a head-to-head “best of show” competition. Many of the proceeds are used to contribute directly to the fireworks bonanza that happens at the end of these shows, but some of them are funneled directly to local charities that could use a bit of help. This is deftly the kind of summertime show you simply cannot miss if you are a classic car enthusiast, or if you’re just looking for a bit of good clean summer fun.
