A museum in Gainesville, Florida, is set to hold a relatively unique event for classic cars this month, combining vintage vehicles with microbrewed beverages.
Sweetwater Park is being taken over by the Matheson Museum on November 19th in order to showcase a wide selection of classic cars, with entry fees kept low to attract the crowds. Adults will pay just $3 to get in, while the charge for children is $1.
Hand in hand with the car show is a beer tasting event, which is being held inside the museum itself and if you want to check out some local, national and global ales then you will need to pay just $10 for the privilege, provided you have proof of age available.
Swamphead Brewery, which is one of the local contributors, will be making its drinks available alongside beers which come from as far afield as Germany and even China and Korea, making for a truly international event.
The funds raised from the event will be pumped back into the museum to ensure that it can be maintained and expanded in the coming years, which could in turn lead to more classic car and beer events.
