First new Corvette stingray delivered to millionaire owner

Classic car lovers have always been in love with the Corvette, but the truth of the matter is that many of the new Corvettes simply didn’t have the same kind of “feel” that those classic Corvettes did. The Stingray of the 60s definitely had a very distinct look and feel about it, the kind of look and feel that just hasn’t been duplicated – on till today. Back in January, NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick was able to place the winning bid at a vintage automobile auction in Arizona to be the owner of the very first 2014 Corvette Stingray to roll off of the production line – the first time that this classic automobile has been remade and released to the general public. While everyone else will have to wait a considerable amount of time (the new Corvettes are expected to hit the market until later – much later – this year), Mr. Hendrick will be able to fly around in his brand-new Stingray with relative ease months before we even get a chance to see one in the flesh.
