The 2013 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance is set to take place next month and already an impressive array of classic cars are known to be taking part in this major annual event.
This year's show will be dedicated to celebrating two significant half-century anniversaries, since both the Porsche 911 and the Ford GT50 celebrate 50 years since their original arrivals in 2013.
The event will also pay homage to the cars of Harry Miller, who was one of the most famous auto designers in the world of motorsport during the 1920s and 1930s.
You should be able to see classic Porsche Carrera and Ford GT models at the event, as well as vintage racers and a wide selection of similarly high profile vehicles, all arrayed beneath the Florida sun.
In addition, RM Auctions will be holding a major sale so that classic car collectors can be in with a chance of picking up sought-after models.
The main auction will be accompanied by a silent auction, which is part of the gala dinner being hosted by Mercedes-Benz USA.
There should be something for everyone at this show, so if you are in the area, you might want to head down between the 8-10 of March.
