Auto enthusiasts should always keep their eyes on web-based auction sites like eBay because occasionally they have intriguing classic cars for sale.
AutoWeek points to a recent lot made available to all bidders, which definitely caught a lot of attention in the past few days.
On sale was a 1968 Plymouth GTX, which had undergone a full restoration and was ready to be used on the road.
The car has been extensively worked on both inside and out and it even had its motor replaced under warranty in 1970, just two years after it rolled out of the factory. This unit itself was rebuilt in 2010 and the car has covered just 10 miles since then.
With 517bhp, it is definitely a bit of a beast and although a lot of the original elements were kept, some things were replaced. For example, this GTX now has white upholstery.
The winning bid for this car was a little over $28,000, which is not too shabby for a classic muscle car that is 45 years old and yet looks like new.
Although this auction has closed, there are plenty of other classics for sale if you want to invest in a piece of history.
