A fire at a property in Cambria County, Pennsylvania this week, severely damaged a garage containing a number of classic cars, according to WJACTV.com.
Fire crews attended the conflagration and managed to get it under control in order to avoid it spreading to the other residential properties located on either side of the garage.
The fire's heat was intense enough to destroy a 1965 Dodge Challenger, a 1965 Ford Mustang and a 1970 Lincoln. The owner said that he was very upset by his loss, since he had owned some of these vehicles for four decades.
He was also a collector of classic bikes and lost a Harley Davidson and a Yamaha during the disaster.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, but there was praise from locals for the response to the fire, since the teams managed to put it out before too much property was damaged.
The owner of the classic cars said that he had been in the garage just a couple of hours before the flames engulfed his prized possessions. It is expected that a fire marshal will return to the scene later this week in order to establish the facts.
