Classic cars at the drive in

This month in Fremont, Nebraska, you can be whisked back to decades gone by, thanks to the Fremont Antique Car Club's latest Car Cruise, Show & Shine, and Drive In Movie.
The show is not just about celebrating classic cars from the past, but also about the activities that defined the eras in which they were built. As such, the members of the club decided that 2012 would be a good year to hold a drive-in movie screening.
Spokesperson, Ron Schultz, said that the screening is going to take place in the parking lot of the Trinity Lutheran Church, where the classic movie 'American Graffiti' will be shown on a temporary screen.
Mr Schultz said that as a rule, the cars that are eligible to take part in the cruise must be at least 30 years old, although he pointed out that this would not be strongly enforced.
There is a small $1 entry fee, although since this is being donated directly to the church in order to help local families on low incomes, a can of food will also be an acceptable substitute.
The event will take place on May 25, and will commence at 7.00 pm. As well as the main feature, there will be a number of cartoons preceding it, while the film will start from 9.00 pm.
