Milton in Florida is on the lookout for any classic cars that will be able to participate in a Mardi Gras parade being held in the town next month, according to the Santa Rosa Press Gazette.
The parade will take place on February 16th and will involve a number of floats and performers, but the organisers are hoping that a collection of vintage vehicles will help spice up proceedings and entertain the crowds.
A non-profit organisation like a car club can participate in the Mardi Gras events for just $25 dollars and you can bring as many members and vehicles as you like, so there is plenty of scope for a good get-together.
Sponsorship is also available for any group that wants to participate, although organisers say that this is limited to those who get their applications in as early as possible.
Although for most people, February will be one of the colder months of the year when street parades are not on the agenda, this is clearly not the case for those lucky enough to live in Florida. Hopefully, classic owners looking for a little fun in the sun will heed the call of the Mardi Gras organisers.
