A festival of classic cars will be helping to raise money for a children's cancer charity, as it takes place in Texas this month.
The Winterfest of Wheels is being organized to entertain the crowds and also make some cash for a good cause.
Organiser, Kim Haiar, told KDLT news that this was the third year in which the show has been held and with all proceeds going direct to the Cure Kids Cancer Trust, it seems like a particularly worthwhile event to visit.
A range of classics will be on display and some vehicles are being driven from as far away as Canada in order to participate.
Mrs Haiar explained that the lack of car shows during the winter months had been part of the inspiration behind setting up the Winterfest of Wheels. She said that it had always been a family tradition to visit motoring events and that the chance to run one of her own was something she wanted to experience.
Just three years after its inception, the shop has swollen to fill an entire convention centre and there is a definite focus on family fun, so there should be something for people of all ages to enjoy.
