An updated app from insurance group Chubb is set to offer users the chance to check up on the prices of classic cars which are being put up for auction at events hosted by Gooding & Company, as part of a renewed partnership between the two organisations.
The smartphone app will let enthusiasts check up on auction information in real time so that classic cars can be searched for, valued and even linked with seller details, so that everyone who wants to get involved in the market is never out of the loop.
Gooding & Company was responsible for the recent sale of a Ferrari Testa Rossa Prototype for the sum of $16.39 million and it is riding on the wave of booming classic car prices and sales, so enhancing an app to take advantage of its services is certainly going to be an appealing prospect.
Those who are passionate about vintage vehicles will know just how useful the internet has become in expanding the market and making it possible to find rare, desirable cars, which would previously have been impossible to buy.
With the age of smartphones upon us, all of this information can now be found on a pocket-size device which never leaves your side.
