A classic car show is being hosted in the heart of the city of Harlingen, Texas on the 14th of April, in order to pull in plenty of people and drive up interest in local amenities and businesses, according to the Brownsville Herald.
This show is an annual event which is partly organised by members of the Antique Automobile Club of America.
There will be no fee to enter for those who want to showcase their classic cars, but there is a charity food drive being held, in order to help out underprivileged people in the region. If you are amongst the first 100 entrants then you will also receive a T-Shirt commemorating the event.
Local district manager, Cheryl LaBerge, said that the classic car show was expected to draw large crowds, the members of which would ideally look to spend a little money at businesses in the city, in between enjoying the vintage vehicles.
In 2011, around 180 cars were present at the event and organisers are expecting this year to be even busier, so if you are thinking of entering a classic vehicle, then it is advised to get in there quickly!
