Skyfall has become the world's first billion dollar James Bond movie and its impact is still reverberating across the world, in recognition of the fact that the British superspy is definitely back in business.

There has been a lot of talk about the cars featured in the various Bond movies over the past five decades, mostly in praise of the classics that ignited automotive passions in subsequent generations.

However, car site, Edmunds.com, compiled a list of what its experts consider to be the worst cars ever driven by James Bond.

AMC actually gets two nods in the list, which might upset those who still respect this marque for its various American classics.

First is the AMC Matador, which was used in 1974's The Man With the Golden Gun, with the filmmakers implying that the car could transform into an aircraft through unconvincing effects.

As well as featuring the AMC Matador, the same Bond movie also had an AMC Hornet, as a result of a stunt sponsorship deal. 007 actually has to visit an entirely fictional AMC dealership in the middle of Bangkok to steal the Hornet, which makes its introduction feel rather unnatural.

While AMC may not have produced a classic on the same level as the Aston Martin DB5, it deserves real recognition.
