Skyfall, the new James Bond movie and the first in four years, is set to release on November 9 and has been generating plenty of publicity and hype.
This year is also the 50th anniversary of the release of the first Bond picture, which has caused many people to look back on the franchise and consider its impact.
A recent study from Total Car Score, asked fans of the film to choose their favourite vehicle used in a Bond movie and it was the classic Aston Martin DB5 that came out on top.
A Facebook poll conducted by the company took answers from more than 900 motor enthusiasts across America and the DB5 was found to be the clear winner, with 55 per cent of the votes cast in favour of it.
It was originally seen in Goldfinger, which released in 1964, although it also appeared in 1995's Goldeneye. Aston Martin has provided a number of cars throughout the Bond franchise, since it is of course an iconic British manufacturer of sports cars and fits the mixture of sophistication and power that is present in Ian Flemming's fictional spy.
The Aston Martin DBS featured in 2008's Quantum of Solace was in second place, while the Vanquish from Die Another Day took third.
