A company which began life in the UK producing custom built RV trailers based on classic cars, has now set up shop in its first US location.
Dub Box USA can be found on Oregon City, Oregon and their main product line involves modified versions of the VW Transporter van, which found fame in the 1960s and 70s as an icon of the counter culture movement.
Spokesperson, Heather Bauccio, spoke out about the company's move to America, explaining that there has been unprecedented demand for their customised classics since they arrived.
She said that the trailers in particular were proving to be very popular, as they provide some much needed portable accommodation for people who want a degree of retro chic when they head out camping.
The company is also expanding into the production of other trailers, including models which will serve fast food and be shipped out to Hawaii in the next few months.
The base price for a shell of a trailer, which can then be customised into your own VW Transporter paradise, is $8990, with orders taking just a month for the company to fulfil. If you double that price you can get a fully loaded Dub Box with all mod cons.
