Though most people probably would that are associate classic car shows and classic car cruises with the summertime months, the truth of the matter is that for 36 years running the River Tales Classic Car Show has been hosting an annual full-time event that continues to draw thousands of people each and every single year. Hosted by the River City Rodders Car Club – in conjunction with Old Town Cape Convention and Visitors Bureau – this use event is expected to bring in literally hundreds and hundreds of vintage automobiles and car enthusiasts from all over state as well as the nation. Event organizers are predicting that this year will be bigger (and better) than any other year before, with some 250 vintage automobiles already signed up to attend. Obviously, the weather will have a dramatic impact on whether or not all of those vintage cars cruise right down Main Street, but the odds are fantastic as local meteorologists predict we’ll have sunny weather perfect for an auto car cruise. Promising vintage automobiles that date back as far as 1910 (with the bulk of the vintage automobiles being from 1920 through 1970), there is a stiff cut off at 2003 for vehicles entered into the show. While that may seem like there is a rather broad range of vintage automobiles offered, it makes for an eclectic and exciting field of classic autos and definitely an event that you’ll want to be a part of.
