An auction of classic cars for sale which was held last weekend in Scottsdale, Arizona, by organisers Barrett-Jackson, was a success, with hundreds of fans and collectors turning up to see rare vehicles going under the hammer.
A number of different American muscle cars were put up for auction, including a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback and a 1934 Ford Custom Cabriolet.
Chevrolet was well represented, with Corvette Custom Convertibles from 1954 and 1957 both up for grabs. Meanwhile, a 1969 Camaro Z-28 Coupe was also attracting a lot of attention on the floor.
If your tastes are more along the pickup truck line than the muscle car lineage, then the availability of a 1956 Ford F-100, which had been fully restored and decked out in a shiny black paintjob, might have caught your eye.
For the fans of customised pickups, there was a 1932 Ford, which had been modified to include plenty of chrome elements as well as racing decals.
For the more discerning buyer there was a 1963 VW 23 Windows Microbus, which came with its own camper trailer. Other unusual classics for sale included a 1964 Cadillac hearse, targeting those with a touch of morbidity.
