15 year classic car rally in Jacksonville ends

For 15 straight years, the First Coast Classic Car Club was holding their own vintage automobile rally in Jacksonville, Florida – only to find that the venue (a Jacksonville area Walmart) no longer wanted them to show up and use the extra parking space that was reserved for spill off for their customers.
This brought to a screeching halt the 15 year tradition of a classic car rally in the Jacksonville area, and has thousands and thousands of people – and even more vintage automobile enthusiasts – all throughout the Jacksonville area (and the United States in general) up in arms.
No reason has been given as of yet to why the Jacksonville area Walmart decided against hosting what would be the 16th annual First Coast Classic Car Club – in the promoters behind the event (and the organizers in the First Coast Classic Car Club) are as much in the dark as we are. Obviously, people continued to ask why the Walmart management decided that this year was the year that the event simply could not be held, but no answer has been forthcoming.
There had been no issues with the event, and after 15 years you think that you would have built up a bit of a reputation in the community. It will be interesting to see what happens as this story develops.
