If you want to hear some stories concerning classic cars this month, you should head to the Blackhawk Museum in California where a special event known as Ghosts of Autos Past is taking place.
Various vintage vehicles have inspired the tales, including a Sedan de Ville Packard from 1938, a Mercedes-Benz Tri-Wheeler and a 1924 Hispano-Suiza Tulipwood Torpedo which, as its name suggests, is fashioned from a timber frame.
Museum admission is $10, with kids and students charged just $7 and you can visit the Ghosts of Autos Past event free of charge once you are inside.
Blackhawk Museum has become famous for its classic cars and its preservation of historic artefacts from the automotive industry.
Opened in 1988, the Blackhawk Museum is worth visiting on any day of the week. But when the Ghosts of Autos Past event is held on October 23rd it will be alive with fresh faces.
If you do want to visit during the event, you will have to be there between 3pm to 5pm to hear the stories and relive the glory days of the vehicles upon which they are based. The museum is open from 10am.
