Classic cars from throughout US history were present at Michael Debbi Park in Buena Vista, New Jersey, during the 2011 American Glass & Steel Show, held in mid-October and celebrating the cultural and aesthetic impact of these vehicles.
There were many classic cars, from multiple historic eras, including a Pontiac Star Chief from the 1950s, a Corvette from the 1980s and a Dodge Super Bee from the late 1960s.
Every classic car enthusiast had a story to tell about their vehicles and almost all were interested in vintage motoring from an early age.
The love of cars possessed by many attendees meant that extensive restorations had been carried out, most of which took years to complete and cost the people involved as much or as little as they could afford.
Mark Hagerman told the Daily Journal that he had spent half a decade working on his classic car and that he could only really indulge in his passion after he had put his kids through college and freed up some cash.
