Now in its 44th year, the Volo Auto Museum and
Antique Malls draw international attention to
the beautiful country village of Volo, Illinois.
Chicago Magazine lists the museum as one of its
top "101 Things To Do."
The 30-acre theme park is known worldwide for
its multi-million dollar collection of nearly
300 antique and famous cars, which it displays
year round in five climate-controlled showrooms.
The museum is the proud home of one of the
largest collections of legendary vehicles from
America's favorite films and television shows,
including Stephen King's Christine, the General
Lee, K.I.T.T., Eleanor from "Gone in 60
Seconds," Vin Diesel's RX-7 from "The Fast and
The Furious," and many more.

Auto enthusiasts of all ages love the museum's
playful children's exhibit featuring exciting
cars such as the Batmobile from the original
television series, the "Back to the Future"
DeLorean, Grandpa Munster's Dragula, the Scooby
Doo display and many more. The little ones
especially delight in piloting the museum's
collection of antique kiddie rides.
An 1848 barn is the entrance to three large
antique malls with 350 dealers displaying their
unique finds. A mercantile mall houses a broad
array of gifts and the Midwest's largest
selection of die cast automobiles. The all new
Strawmarket mall features the beautiful
creations of many local artist and crafters.

At its 1950s food court, the museum sells fresh
baked gourmet pizzas, delicious deli-subs, hot
dogs, nachos, fresh baked warm cookies and other
treats. The museum's gift shop features
hard-to-find 50s and 60s memorabilia, including
reference and car books, signs, posters, clocks,
and clothing.
The museum's armed forces adventure will blow
you away. Opening this Thanksgiving weekend, The
Combat Zone features action-packed battle
scenes, heart-pounding sound effects and awesome
military weaponry and vehicles. See a German
half-track parade through the streets of a
French villiage, an American Tank patrol the
jungles of Vietnam and many other realistic
battle scenes. It's going to be a real blast.
The museum's grounds are dotted with shade trees
and flower gardens that change with the seasons,
a winding brick pathway and bubbling fountains.
Benches located throughout the park provide rest
stops for weary guests. The museum provides
on-site parking and free camping.
The museum hosts about 25 annual car shows and
several charity events. Each year police lead a
cruise of several hundred classic automobiles
from Antioch and Mt. Prospect to a "Toys For
Tots" drop-off at the museum. Upcoming events
include a raffle of the museum's 1964 Mustang
convertible to support St. Jude Children's
Research Hospital.
