Lovely restoration. . rust free, show quality interior, chrome, trim, and interior.

Wire wheels, disc brakes, completely rebuilt brakes and hydraulics (rebuilt calipers, new rear wheel cylinders, new master cylnder, etc. ), new tan cloth top and tonneau, all new interior with leather seats, very nice detail work.

No info on engine rebuild but has perfect compression, perfect oil pressure, and runs very well. Judging by the paint on the engine and our tests, there is a strong possibility of a fresh rebuild.

Brand new fuel tank, carbs cleaned and checked, mostly new electrics, new rubber seals and gaskets, it is obvious that a lot of attention and detail work went into the project.

Front end is tight, all of the chrome is very nice, side curtains are new, all in all, a very nice MGA.

And driving? A few days after it arrived, I took it for a ten mile drive. Really defines the term 'tight' as steering, handling, ride, etc. were all first rate. A bit loud but when we looked underneath, we found the exhaust was fine. . but with a louder glasspack. . clearly the last owner's preference. Want tired? Easy to change to a quiet muffler.

Looked underneath and it is very very clean. Went over the exterior with my kitchen magnet. . found perhaps one small spot where it didn't stick well, the rest. . seems perfect, rust and bondo free. All in all, for a fifty year old sports car. . one of the best.
