Found in a Texas barn in completely original condition this very rare Mercury Cyclone CJ 428 was restored in 2011. The car was purchased by the second owner in 1973 and was put in storage in 1976 (see inspection sticker) and removed in December 2010. Special order 428 Cobra Jet Ram Air V8 engine, Cruise-O-Matic transmission, power steering, power front disc brakes, factory AC, tinted glass, Decor group, console, bucket seats, tachometer and Special factory paint code. The special paint on this car was later used on the Dan Gurney Specials. The interior is original and in incredible condition except for the new carpet and new headliner that were installed. Comes with Marti Report and original build sheet. We have over $70K in restoration receipts and many pictures of the car before and after restoration. This rare muscle car runs and drives like it should and is a great value at this price.
