Entirely original and showing immaculate maintenance, the engine bay is packed with wires and hoses, all dedicated to making the big Lincoln waft along in eerie silence. The big V8 makes enough torque to give the sensation of limitless acceleration, much like an electric motor, and drives the power accessories without hesitation. Hoses, belts, and other routine maintenance items have been replaced, but for the most part it's 100% stock and original under the hood. A 3-speed automatic shifts almost imperceptibly, and the chassis is extremely clean. Optional alloy turbine wheels wear 235/75/15 Kelly radials, probably only the second set of tires this car has ever worn.
