This is an original 1953 Jaguar XK 120 body and suspension with a little v8 engine upgrade! This little Jag has the sleek factory appearance and the original suspension but under the hood is a mean running 355 Chevrolet small block. The car is newly painted with base and clear coat and the body is solid and intact. The chrome on the car looks nice and appears to be mostly original parts in great condition. The interior has been redone with newer seat covers, door panels, carpeting and recovered door ledge and top well pads. This Jaguar has the original wood grain dash in beautiful condition. It has new electronic tachometer and speedometer inconspicuously mounted behind to better monitor the performance of the engine and maintain the classic look of the car. The steering column has been updated with a locking key. There is also a new rose wood steering wheel and AM/FM cassette radio tucked under the dash. The engine compartment houses the 355 Chevy small block beautifully. The engine has 10.75 : 1 compression TRW forged pistons and a Crain cam with roller rockers. The heads are Edelbrock aluminum Performers, Edelbrock intake and Holley carburetor. The drive line has a Borg Warner T56 6 speed Manual transmission with highway friendly gears. It still retains the original rear differential. The brakes have semi metallic front shoes, adjustable proportioning valve and bronze sleeved wheel cylinders with a GM Master cylinder. The cooling system consists of a custom built radiator with shroud and auxiliary fan that handles the cooling needs of the larger engine while still having a classic brass look. . The wheels are Brand New American Racing REV 17X8 with performance tires. If you prefer the stock look we have a nice set of used Kelsey-Hayes spoke wheels that would give it a more stock appearance.
