



The Hudson Super Six was built from 1915, through to 1929. The car was thought to be one of the best automobiles of its time, while also being somewhat attractively priced.
The name Super Six derived from the car’s engine, a straight six-cylinder, a high-rotation engine, delivering more power, yet not at the loss of passenger comfort, as the power was delivered smoothly.

The Super Six was a featured car in the John Steinbeck novel, "The Grapes of Wrath", described at one point in the text as "A Hudson Super-Six sedan, and the top had been ripped in two with a cold chisel."
